Welcome to Undulata Country Lodge, where the legacy of Annelene van Wyk intertwines with the spirit of family and resilience. Annelene's journey from overcoming early hardships to establishing a bastion of tranquility in Namaqualand has set a profound example for her family and everyone she meets.

Leaving school in Grade 9, Annelene faced life's challenges with unparalleled determination. This fierce resolve led her to the hospitality industry, where, together with her husband Jacques, she lovingly crafted Undulata Country Lodge from a modest boarding house into a revered sanctuary.

Annelene and Jacques’s partnership extends beyond business; it is a lifelong commitment to shared values of hard work, adaptability, and patience—values they have passionately imparted to their three children. Each child has carried these lessons into their own lives. Angelique, their eldest, ventured to Mexico and mirrored her mother’s path by opening a spa in Troncones, Mexico. Morell, the middle child, brought her learned skills back to her hometown, opening her own guest house and raising three children in the nurturing environment she grew up in. Their youngest, Jason, took a different route, applying the family's work ethic to his career as an engineer in Ireland.The influence of Annelene and Jacques is also evident in their four grandchildren who are absorbing the family’s values, witnessing firsthand the power of dedication and love.

At Undulata, these family values are palpable. Every guest is embraced with the same warmth and respect that Annelene and Jacques extend to their own family. This ethos is especially evident in The Spa Room at Undulata Lodge, a manifestation of the tranquility that Annelene has always strived to provide.
